What The People Thinks About Us

I have been getting idols from Kaushik for more than a decade and a half and have recommended him to several of my friends and acquaintances across all continents and everyone found his services very professional and reasonably priced. To me he is a one stop shop for any idol related issues – from suggesting alternative artwork to making paperwork for a door to door service. I have actually compared the transportation price outside, and found his to be the cheapest.
In my opinion he has been able to establish a common thread of connection amongst all Bengalis living overseas away from Bengal/India through his skill and craftsmanship. Wishing you the very best for your future. May Maa Durga usher all her blessings on you and your family.

2015, while we were in Hong Kong, we had the good fortune to get our Maa Durga Protima from Mr. Kaushik Ghosh in Kumartoli, Kolkata, India. From choosing the protima to having it delivered to our Hong Kong home, the entire experience was flawless. I was astounded by how easy the entire process was. We relocated to Singapore in 2017 and carried the Protima with us. Since then, we have been celebrating Durga puja annually at home with friends and family. Everyone still asks me where I got the Protima and who the artist/karigar is? I proudly tell everyone about Kaushik Da.
I wish Kaushik da good luck, good health, and wealth, and I trust that he will continue the legacy of creating exquisite protima.

When we started searching to get an idol (Durga Protima) for Wellington we did not know who to approach in Kumartuli. From website and hearsay we spoke to Kaushik and met him when I visited to Kolkata. His professionalism, knowledge in this field, punctuality and above everything his warm personality amazed me. Kaushik was very kind to take my husband and me to his home to discuss and show what he does. He spoke about the process, price and options of how to get the protima over to Wellington from Kolkata. We felt very confident after talking to him and got our Durga Protima in 2016 from Kaushik.

Kaushik’s knowledge, sense of craftsmanship, creativity, willingness to help spread the grandeur and glory of this greatest Bengali festival and heritage is very highly commendable.
